Anterior Translation of Sternoclavicular Joint Chuna Treatment: A Case Report

Abstract
|
|
|
Objectives : This report is to investigate clinical effects of Chuna treatment on anterior translation of sternoclavicular joint.
Methods : The female Patient, 50 years old, had anterior translation of sternoclavicular joint and the local pain. We treated the patient with Chuna treatment. In order to evaluate the improvement, Degrees of pain were measured with Visual Analogue Scale(VAS), and the change of anterior translation was assessed with anterior height of clavicle head.
Results : After 3 weeks treatment, In VAS, Degrees of pain decreased 10 to 2. and Anterior height of clavicle head decreased 15mm to 5mm.
Conclusions : Chuna treatment is effective on treating anterior translation of sternoclavicular joint and the local pain.
